The Explainers’ training school is one of the 3 components of the ESTIM project (Equal access to Science, Technology, Innovation and Multimedia), submitted to the big loan in 2011. Its main objective is to put in place continuous "professional" training courses adapted to the needs of mediators and scientific facilitators in post.

7 partners, experts in the field of scientific and technical culture, have come together to make it happen. Together, they design continuing education modules on varied and relevant themes for the contemporary practice of scientific mediation in the Centers for Scientific, Technical and Industrial Culture (CCSTI), museums, associations, scientific leisure clubs and libraries, as well as for science journalists and researchers.
